Dr Ingo Kolossa

General & Colorectal Surgeon

Ingo is a highly experienced Germany-trained Colorectal Surgeon with a strong professional and personal connection to Intus.

Ingo was a valued member of the Intus team for eight years from 2010-2018 before returning to Germany for family reasons. However, his commitment to Intus and its patients remains steadfast- he continues to collaborate through regular locum visits and provides expert assistance via telemedicine. Through this, Intus’s patients continue to benefit from his extensive knowledge and surgical expertise.

Ingo has a special interest in upper and lower GI endoscopy, gastroscopy and colonoscopy, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer, hemorrhoids, pelvic floor dysfunction, and fistula-in-ano. His deep understanding of these conditions allows him to offer comprehensive and patient-centered care.

Beyond his technical skills, Ingo is known for his warm and empathetic nature. A true people’s person, he takes the time to listen to his patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their treatment journey. His dedication and approachable personality make him a trusted and respected figure both at Intus and among his patients.
