Dr Nicola Hay

Dr Nicola Hay is a Specialist Nephrologist/Renal Physician at Intus Lakes Medical Specialists in Wanaka.

Dr Hay’s practice covers a broad range of general nephrology including the evaluation of blood and urine test abnormalities and all aspects of chronic kidney disease. She will also accept referrals that require a specialist medical assessment as a requirement of the Immigration NZ application process.

She is the only South Island based nephrologist working in the private sector. Her past hospital practice included a special interest in paediatric nephrology and renal supportive care. She was a Clinical Senior Lecturer at Wellington School of Medicine (University of Otago).
