Making an appointment

You can telephone 03 977 5977 during our business hours of 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday to speak to one of our reception staff who will be happy to arrange an appointment for you with one of our specialists. Alternatively you can request an appointment by email at appointments@intus.co.nz

Referral process

General practitioner or other health practitioner referrals

Your referring doctor can schedule an appointment on your behalf by sending us a referral letter. Upon receipt of this, if an appointment has not already been made, our reception staff will contact you to arrange a suitable appointment time.

Self-referral

Our clinicians prefer patients to be referred for treatment by their family doctor who can provide relevant background information, but they may accept self-referral in some circumstances.

What to expect at your appointment

When you come to the Intus Reception you will be asked to complete a Registration form and possibly a Symptom Questionnaire.

Support person

You are very welcome to bring along a support person at the time of your consultation.

Chaperone service

Our nursing staff are very happy to be in attendance at the time of any examination.
